It has been an exciting tech career so far. Here are some of the projects I've recently delivered and I'm working on:

A WebApp for a Mumbai Based B2B Travel Management StartUp

  • Brief description: Under the brand name Commutec, Aurafox Solutions offers travel desk management (cabs) for businesses. Built a web application from scratch to manage bookings and invoicing.
  • My role: End to end product management, gathering requirements from all stakeholders to scope features, prioritizing and delivering features, built an IT team from scratch, development, testing, deployment and maintenance.
  • Front-end: ReactJS - NextJS, TanStack Query, TailwindCSS, DaisyUI
  • Backend & database: NodeJS, tRPC, mySQL
  • Other skills involved: Git, Vercel, PlanetScale, AWS EC2, AWS S3
  • Status: Live since May 2024, continuous feature addition in progress

Frontends for a Boston Based IT Security and Compliance StartUp

  • Brief description: Adding features to an existing React application involving workflows and forms. This involves building an admin panel and a building frontend for the customers of our product subscribers.
  • My role: Development and support July 2022 onwards. This product is live and feature addition is ongoing.

A WebApp for a Silicon Valley based Processor Manufacturer

  • Brief description: Revamped 2 existing web applications and developed a new one, building a single WebApp for a Silicon Valley based processor manufacturer. One of those 3 projects involves delivering confidential data to the client's customers.
  • My role: Development and support October 2021 onwards. This product is live and feature addition is ongoing.

  • Backend & database: AdonisJS, Strapi CMS, postgreSQL
  • Other skills involved: AWS Amplify, AWS S3, AWS Lambda, AWS EC2, Nginx

A Fintech Product for Brokers

  • Brief description: A B2B product - web application and mobile application that enables brokers and financial managers to manage the accounts of their clients (retail investors).
  • My role: Development and support March 2021 onwards. This product has evolved for last few years, and I'm currently carrying out change requests and providing support.
  • Front-end: VueJS
  • Backend & database: Laravel, postgreSQL, Redis
  • Other skills involved: Kite integration, Angel integration, Telegram integration, Git
  • Status: Live for last few years, currently feature addition in progress

A Fintech Product for Retail Traders

  • Brief description: A B2C product - web application that takes trading data from Kite's APIs, facilitates backtesting of trading strategies, and delivers live trading advisory over Telegram. A complex application involving integration with multiple third party platforms, web socket, and extremely critical since clients will take trading positions in market - realtime, based on the advisory.
  • My role: Development from March 2021
  • Front-end: NextJS, Apollo Client, TypeScript
  • Backend & database: NodeJS, ExpressJS, GraphQL, TypeScript, postgreSQL, Redis
  • Other skills involved: Telegram integration, Git
  • Status: Under development since January 2021.

A Community Management App

  • Brief description: A web application for managing a minority community with a world population of about 10k. Multiple modules with low complexity - user management with roles and permissions, family management, profile management, explore members.
  • My role: Development and support. Solely responsible for development of the entire project. The team designed and reviewed code.
  • Front-end: ReactJS
  • Backend & database: NodeJS, ExpressJS, postgreSQL

Always wanting to know more, the question, "WHY DO WE LIVE?" has definitely bothered several people. To explore answers to the same, I did numerous things like:

  • Also did the 10-Day Vipassana course
  • Did Yoga for about 4 months in life (hoping for spiritual progress)
  • And did a lot of other activities!
